A tranquil 14-room boutique Bed & Breakfast inn seamlessly blending the elegance of a bygone era with the modern amenities and conveniences the discriminating traveller expects. The inn is comprised of three antebellum style houses built around the perimeter of the property to enclose an enchanting courtyard. The meticulously restored main building was originally built for merchant Frank Simmons in 1876, while the other two homes were built in 1996 to compliment the architectural details of the main house. Private, semi-private and public porches overlooking Ash Street or our soothing fountain courtyard provide guests with a place to enjoy a cup of coffee, a glass of wine, al fresco dining or simply relaxing amid the oasis of calm.

Located on historic Amelia Island, an unspoiled barrier island in northeast Florida, The Addison is located adjacent to miles of pristine white sandy beaches, art galleries and eclectic shops, hiking and cycling paths, world-class golf courses, deep sea fishing and an array of water sports.

Orlando Magazine describes The Addison "a great destination for a rejuvenating long weekend" while Best Places to Stay in Florida calls the property the "Best Inn on Amelia Island."

About

World Wide Travel Source began in 1996 as a Travel Directory designed to promote our web hosting clients. We quickly expanded to include resources for detinations, services and products around the globe! Travel is our passion and we continue to work hard to provide direct links to providers in unique and wonderful settings.

What we do

We love to travel. From exotic vacations to youth hostels we strive to bring you the places that interest you the most. We're in the process of creating a completely new web site and are happy to take suggestions for features or destinations.

Who we are

WWTS began as one woman's plan to work from home while doing something she loved. It quickly became a group of geeks, friends and women who love to travel. Over the past 17 years your support has helped us raise our children and now is helping save the family farm.
